On behalf of our client - a well-established retail company based in Katowice - we are currently looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their growing team.

• Customize standard software to meet customer-specific needs
• Develop and adapt business processes for POS, self-checkout, and scale systems
• Work on central services (e.g. cash management, reporting, master data, promotions) and mobile/edge solutions
• Integrate third-party systems via APIs (e.g. payment, loyalty, coupons)
• Connect with hardware like payment terminals, printers, and scanners

• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 6+ years of experience with Java, Spring, REST, Git, Jenkins, Oracle/MSSQL
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Vue.js, and frontend development is a plus
• Solid grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Fast learner with a proactive mindset
• Enjoys working in international, agile teams
• Fluent in English
