Opis stanowiska- Lead monthly bank reconciliation activities, ensuring all reconciling items are properly identified, documented, and resolved
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations across multiple entities, including high‑volume or judgment‑based accounts
- Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, including reconciliations, depreciation analysis, and capital expenditure tracking
- Review and approve journal entries prepared by junior staff and prepare more complex entries independently
- Own key parts of the month‑end close, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation standards are followed
- Provide in‑depth variance analysis and communicate findings to management with clear explanations
- Ensure reconciliations comply with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
- Maintain and enhance reconciliation templates, workflows, and documentation processes
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and regional accounting teams to improve cross-functional data integrity
- Support audit processes by preparing high-quality reconciliation files, audit schedules, and explanations
- Mentor junior accountants, offering guidance on reconciliation completeness, quality, and analytical review
- Bring 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including reconciliation ownership
- Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA/ACCA or equivalent is a strong plus
- Demonstrate advanced experience with:
- bank reconciliations for multiple entities
- asset and depreciation reconciliations
- general ledger reconciliation and account ownership
- journal entry preparation and review
- Have hands-on experience with multi-entity environments, preferably global or high‑volume
- Show strong English communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across time zones
- Possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles
- Bring experience with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle) - nice to have
- Exhibit excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrate a mindset focused on ownership, process improvement, and understanding the "why" behind the numbers
