• Ensure general ledger and financial statements are complete and accurate.
• Manage payables, receivables, and invoicing functions of the schools to ensure they are complete, accurate and fully reconciled.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal control and compliance environment.
• Ensure general ledger reconciliations including deferred income and relevant Balance Sheet accounts are performed.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal control and compliance environment and maintain a documented system of policies and procedures.
• Maintain the fixed asset register by supervising the recording of all items in the inventory, maintaining pertinent records, and ensuring adequate treatment of fixed asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Liaise with banks, audit, legal and tax providers as necessary. Comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Be the main point of contact for the implementation

Profil kandydata

• Strong Budgeting and Forecasting experience.
• Ability to challenge currents ways of working and experience in setting up, changing, improving financial processes.
• Experience of working in a fast-pace growth orientated business.
• Adaptability to work within a matrix organisation also desirable.
• Strong understanding of tax, statutory accounting, and financial control best practices.
• Good Knowledge of IFRS
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at senior levels of organisation and influence key stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong systems skills and previous experience of a system implementation is desirable.
• Oracle/NetSuite experience desirable but not essential.
• Fluent in English.
