This Position reports to:
IS Operational Effectiveness Lead - IA
In this role, you will support the day-to-day business needs and guide the PA Service Division teams on the implementation and adoption of the PA Service Applications and Tools (SAT) Suite. Represent PA in ASP towers by requesting and ensuring the PA division change requests are successfully implemented.Develop and nurture cross PA SAT application-based core teams that will specify the development and justify the business requirements for each of the SAT applications. The division core team representatives will oversee the implementation and rollout of their applications and support their user community and management teams

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Business Processes: Manages standardization and harmonization of Service applications and tools that enable common global business processes that deliver business value. Support Service applications and tools lifecycle, status reporting, metrics and benchmarks. Oversees support activities as they relate to the PA Service division’s usage of SAT Suite.
- Applications and Tools Delivery: Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Service Applications and Tools applications. Oversee the team’s successful delivery of the business outcomes in partnership with Service business colleagues.
- Lifecycle: Defines and enhances methodologies and practices for the Service Applications and Tools lifecycle management in line with IS processes and best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement. Introduce new applications and tools with a focus on Gen and Agentic AI that deliver additional business value. As necessary sunset applications and tools that have been functionally replace or are no longer supportable
- Standards & Compliance: Ensures that Applications Services processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation.
- Budget: Work with PA division service to develop an annual budget for existing and new service applications and tools. Ensure that the development organization utilizes the assigned budget effectively and delivers application enhancement within agreed schedules and costs.
- Stakeholder Management: Develops productive relationships with business counterparts, the organization to influence how Service Applications and Tools can enable new sources of value. Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with applications. Develop KPIs and publish the results, when necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
- Strategy: Work with each application core team, members and other subject matter experts to develop an application roadmap in the context of the business strategy and in alignment with overall PA Service Strategy.
- People leadership and development: Lead and mentor the application core team personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps.
- NewGen support: Support the PA NewGen service representative by aligning SAT application roadmap with NewGen rollout schedule. Rationalize and optimize the NewGen applications with SAT to deliver best possible business value.
Challenges:
- Operating in a business under transformation, where all processes, tools and teams have varying degrees of maturity using the Global Service Applications and Tools solution suite
- Supporting global, multi-country implementations delivering enhancements to the SAT suite and other business specific solutions
- Integrating leading-edge technologies—such as GenAI—into the SAT suite in a cost-effective and impactful manner.
- Managing stakeholders’ expectations which cross multiple PA divisions and , functions
- Leading and collaborating with resources virtually spread (internal/external), crossing several cultures
Qualifications for the role:
- 10+ years Industrial Service business experience in developing service business processes that are enabled by leading edge IT applications. Experience with SAP, SFDC and web application solution development.
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications
- Technical experience with technologies supporting large applications; in a global manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of functional end-to-end processes
- A leader who has repeatedly implemented processes and tools
- Significant experience successfully working with geographically dispersed and diverse teams
