YOUR TASKS- Build intuitive workflows and tools to serve the needs of our stakeholders, business partners, and end users
- Drive down costs and land efficiency wins via impactful optimizations and infrastructure upgrades
- Work cross-functionally with partners in Globalization, Data Science, product teams, and external vendors
- Build scalable systems supporting high qps realtime translation requests and efficient retrieval of translated content
- Be part of an impactful infrastructure team while contributing to and learning industry best practices on internationalization
- 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages and frameworks, particularly Kotlin and/or Java
- Strong understanding of microservices and Kubernetes with experience working on APIs and end-to-end development from developing to testing
- Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale system/product, such as well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, distributed systems, and efficient algorithms
- Exposure to GraphQL
- Willingness to work across the backend stack to address technical challenges anywhere in the system
- Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to participate in team meetings, working sessions, and code reviews
