You care deeply about usability and polish, and you can take a flow from concept design production UI quickly. You'll use Cursor to implement and iterate your own designs efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Own the UI/UX for key product areas: dashboards, learning flows, content editors, assessments, analytics, and AI-driven experiences.
- Design and implement interfaces in React, using React Query for data fetching/caching and app state synchronization.
- Use Cursor as a core part of your workflow to translate designs into clean, scalable components quickly.
- Build and maintain a consistent component system (reusable patterns, UI states, accessibility, responsiveness).
- Collaborate with backend to integrate APIs with great UX (loading/error states, optimistic updates, graceful edge cases).

- Ensure high quality: performance, responsiveness, cross-browser behavior, and pixel-level polish.
Requirements:
- Strong experience building production apps with React.
- Strong experience with React Query (caching, invalidation, pagination, optimistic updates, etc.).
- Strong UX/UI background: you understand product UX, visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, interaction design, and accessibility.
- Proven ability to design and ship complete features (not just implement tickets).
- Excellent communication and product sense: you can argue for UX improvements and make tradeoffs.
Preferred:
- EdTech experience (learning flows, content delivery, assessments/quizzes, progress tracking, analytics).
- Experience with complex UIs (editors, drag/drop, dashboards, real-time or collaborative interactions).
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma and turning systems into reusable UI.
- JavaScript, component libraries/design systems, and frontend testing.
- Experience using Cursor (or similar AI coding tools) to speed up implementation while keeping code quality high.
