Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) for a Chinese multinational company that is establishing a new office in Warsaw. The company operates in the smart grid, new energy, and energy storage sectors, offering products and services such as smart meters, power consumption information collection systems, advanced metering architecture solutions, and intelligent power distribution products.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements: Generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage daily accounting operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile accounts: Ensure accuracy by reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
• Monitor cash flow: Track and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and timely payment of obligations
• Oversee tax compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct audits: Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Implement accounting policies: Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures
• Support budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting or financial management, ideally in a multinational company
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen eye for detail
• Certifications: CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
• Technical proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel
• Language: Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills
