Easter Europe Cluster Manager
As a Business Development Manager for Logistics, you will drive the growth of ABB Robotics’ logistics business across parcel, e-commerce, retail fulfillment, and 3PL segments. You will transform operational challenges into scalable solutions with partners and convert lighthouse wins into repeatable business programs.Reporting to Country Manager and functionally to Global Sales & Portfolio Team.
Your Responsibilities- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity; identify portfolio gaps and refine the value proposition
- Co-create and execute go-to-market and growth strategies, including channels, pricing, and value-based selling
- Align regional activities with global strategy and support its local execution
- Support sales teams in key opportunities and customer engagements
- Build and manage a strong pipeline and drive profitable growth initiatives
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships (SIs, OEMs, software) and co-innovation projects
- Lead key logistics automation opportunities from concept (PoC) to contract
- Develop compelling ROI/TCO business cases and support commercial negotiations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in logistics automation and/or robotics
- Proven track record of driving business growth and delivering results
- Experience working in international, matrix organizations
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into solutions
- Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Own and shape the logistics growth strategy across the region
- Deliver measurable impact through bookings, margin, and pipeline growth
- Drive partner-led initiatives and scalable go-to-market programs
- Take ownership of territory strategy, key accounts, and commercial performance
