About the role

Expereo is building a new Digital Office to accelerate its transformation through the Single-Threaded Owner (STO) model, creating outcome‑oriented, full‑stack product teams across the Commercial XP and In‑Life XP domains. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of a cross‑functional squad that owns mission‑critical lead‑to‑cash and service processes on the Salesforce platform, enabling automation, observability, and repeatability at scale.

You will design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions that unify Expereo’s global commercial engine, from opportunity management and CPQ to order fulfilment and billing. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy translating complex business scenarios into robust, scalable Salesforce implementations and who thrive in impact‑driven teams focused on measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and ISV packages such as Enxoo BSS/Billing) that support Expereo’s global lead-to-cash and service processes.
• Implement customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration to meet business requirements while respecting Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
• Translate user and business requirements into technical designs, including data models, integrations, and security model, and ensure these designs are documented and reviewed with architects and stakeholders.

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Expereo’s backoffice systems using REST APIs, middleware, and platform events, following established Expereo patterns.
• Design and optimize data flows and sync processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and observability across the commercial and operational landscape.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of reusable integration frameworks, SDKs, and connectors on Salesforce, aligned with Expereo’s programmable platform strategy.

• Write clean, testable Apex and LWC code with appropriate unit and integration test coverage, supporting CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments (e.g., using Gitbased workflows and automated validation).
• Apply security and compliance best practices on the Salesforce platform, including rolebased access control, fieldlevel security, and secure integration patterns.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Salesforce performance and reliability, collaborating with SRE/DevOps and backend teams to improve observability and incident response.

• Work closely with Product Managers, architects, business stakeholders, and other engineers in STO squads to refine requirements, prioritize work, and deliver incremental value.
• Contribute to Salesforce development standards, patterns, and guardrails, helping other teams adopt reference implementations and shared components.
• Support innovation initiatives such as AI assisted workflows, advanced quoting, and programmable network and connectivity products built on Salesforce and related platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer (typically 3+ years) with hands on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules).
• Strong understanding of core Salesforce Clouds (at least Sales Cloud or Service Cloud), including object model design, automation, security model, and data management.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or event driven architectures, ideally in an enterprise B2B environment.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as version control (Git), CI/CD for Salesforce, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, outcome driven teams, collaborating effectively with product, architecture, and backend engineering stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to break down complex commercial and operational workflows into maintainable Salesforce solutions.

• Experience with telecommunications or connectivity businesses, or with complex, multicomponent B2B products and quoting/billing scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with CPQ, order management, or billing solutions on Salesforce (e.g., Enxoo BSS/Billing, Salesforce CPQ, or similar).
• Exposure to lowcode platforms and adjacent tools used at Expereo (e.g., Mendix, ServiceNow) and how they interact with Salesforce.
• Experience in programming in Java, .NET or some other object-oriented back-end technology.
• Very good skills in HTML5/JavaScript/CSS as well as some JavaScript-based front-end framework (preferably React).
• Familiarity with AI assisted capabilities on Salesforce (Einstein, agentic workflows) or constraint solving/data-driven architectures.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant Cloud Consultant credentials.
