We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our core engineering team. Our frontend is architected as a modern, responsive multi-device solution, leveraging the latest reactive frameworks and sophisticated client-side state management.
On the backend, our business logic relies on a robust, proprietary system supported by leading open-source frameworks and secure integration modules. Our data layer consists of high-availability distributed clusters and dedicated warehousing solutions.We are continuously exploring emerging technologies and innovative architectural patterns to deliver the most efficient and competitive gaming experience to our customers.
About you:
Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Design and implement robust, testable, and scalable backend services using PHP 8.x and Symfony.
- API Design: Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs that power our web and mobile applications.
- Code Quality: Participate in rigorous peer code reviews and contribute to internal coding standards.
- Database Management: Optimize complex SQL queries and design efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Frontend Developers, and QA Engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Mentoring: Occasionally assist junior developers through pair programming and knowledge sharing.
Technical Requirements:
- PHP Mastery: Minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience in PHP (8.x preferred).
- Frameworks: Deep understanding of Symfony (6+)
- Testing: Experience in writing unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, Pest, or Behat).
- Architecture: Practical knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles.
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL and working with ORMs (Doctrine or Eloquent)
- DevOps Basics: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and basic cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- English: B2+ level for effective communication in a global environment.
Nice to have:
- Python Foundations: Basic knowledge of Python is a plus (e.g., for scripting or supporting data-related microservices).
- Knowledge of Redis or RabbitMQ for handling asynchronous tasks.
- Experience in Microservices or Event-Driven Architecture.
