This position reports to:

IS Service Owner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will apply IT knowledge and expertise to help solve complex technical or professional activities. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge about services and solutions, to contribute your expertise to enhance organizational efficiency.

The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

Creating functional and technical specifications for implementing DR services.
Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of DR management tooling (e.g. for data synchronization monitoring)
Technically review the solution proposed by vendor and sign off the Design documents.
Identifying, analysing and reporting any inefficiencies or improvement opportunities
Oversee preparation and maintenance of operational documentation for the DR services.
Assuring the DR services are being delivered according to agreed Service Levels and quality
Supporting DR drills the planning, coordination and execution as well as fault reasons identification and fixing
Collaborating with Hosting suppliers regarding DR service operations and DR-related incidents resolution
Working with Architects, Information security teams, Connectivity and other groups on updating the design and implementing new DR solutions
Keeping up to date knowledge regarding / emerging technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant field
Minimum 5 years experience working on IT infrastructure and experience on running DR environments, DR tests.
Deep understanding of various Operating Systems and Databases and their HA/DR capabilities
Knowledge on Infrastructure running in Cloud (Azure, GCP or AWS)
ITIL Certification will be preferred
Azure or GCP Foundational level certification will be good to have
