Responsibilities:

The Transfer Pricing Team Leader (m/f/d) manages the execution of operational transfer pricing processes, leading a team of up to three employees. Responsibilities include supervising Transfer Pricing adjustments calculations, identifying and implementing process optimizations, supporting transfer pricing audits, contributing to policy development, managing risks, and overseeing talent management within the team.

The Transfer Pricing Team Leader works closely with the Transfer Pricing Global Director, who holds accountability for all Transfer Prining process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of functional specialists by distributing daily tasks and ensuring high-quality operational process delivery, including execution, reviews, and issue resolution
  • Serve as a first contact point and Subject Matter Expert for operational questions relating to transfer pricing, providing advice on transfer pricing analysis and models
  • Manage day-to-day issues, escalate service incidents when necessary
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process enhancements within Transfer Pricing to support continuous improvement and collaborate with other departments
  • Support transfer pricing audit activities
  • Maintain streamlined communication and feedback with the business and other stakeholders to reflect changes in the Transfer Pricing processes
  • Identify potential risks, assess their impact and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Promote a strong service culture and emphasize audit‑proof process execution and documentation to ensure operational excellence
  • Manage and develop talents within the Transfer Pricing team
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

To be successful in the role we need you to have:

  • B.Sc. degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant and recent work experience in transfer pricing or comparable activities, including 2-3 recent years in a managerial role
  • Demonstrates knowledge of US GAAP accounting regulations and company accounting policies and internal controls, a working knowledge of IFRS and unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards.
  • English (min. C1) required, German/French/Italian (B1) will be a plus
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel; Advanced experience with SAP systems (R/3, S/4HANA); ideally, exposure to with data analytics or process automation tools (e.g. VBA, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Comprehensive expertise in (operational) transfer pricing processes, benchmarking analysis and transfer pricing regulations
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an open-minded and adaptable attitude towards change
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Competence in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proven track record of constructive and effective performance management and talent development.
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of company tools, products, and applications
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
